New Class: Yoga for the Spirit |

On alternate weeks, Athena will teach classical yoga asanas with an emphasis on yoga philosophy, the chakras, and meditation. In her week, Irene will focus on the nature-inspired flowing movements of Dru Yoga, which is designed to release energy blockages and promote equanimity through a connection to the sacred. Basic knowledge of yoga asanas is required. The class takes place Wednesdays from 10 to 11:15 a.m. from September 30, 2009 to January 27, 2010. Drop-in students are welcome for $15 a class if space is available.
